How to screenshot on Windows:

1. How do I take a screenshot on my Windows device?

Press and hold together the Windows key together with the Shift and S keys at the same time. Then use your mouse to draw a rectangle across your screen to select which area of your screen you wish to capture. Windows will then take a screenshot and save it to the clipboard.

2. Where can I find the screenshot that I've just taken?

Your screenshot resides inside the Windows clipboard. You can paste it into most programs, but to get an image file you should paste it into a program called 'Paint', which is pre-installed with Windows. Open 'Paint' on your computer and use Ctrl + V to paste the screenshot. Then save the file in the image format you need.

How do I find 'Paint'?

Search for it in your search bar as shown in the image below:

3. Is there another way to take screenshots in Windows?

Yes, there is also a dedicated screenshot program pre-installed on Windows. It's called 'Snipping Tool'. Search for it in your search bar and use it to take screenshots.
